Accessibility Statement

Ofier Architects believes a website, like a building, should be usable by everyone. We work to make this site accessible to people with disabilities in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments, 2013), Israeli Standard 5568 and the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.

What has been done

• Clear heading structure, landmarks and a "skip to content" link for screen readers and keyboard users.
• Full keyboard operation: every link, button and the film's sound switch can be reached and activated with the keyboard.
• An accessibility menu (the figure icon at the bottom-right of every page) with larger text, high contrast, underlined links, a readable font, highlighted focus, and a switch that stops all motion, animation and the films.
• Motion respects the operating system's "reduce motion" preference automatically.
• The home film's narration appears as live captions; images carry descriptions where they convey content.
• Colour contrast of text meets AA; text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.

Known limitations

• The home page contains a film and an interactive image field. Both can be stopped with the accessibility menu ("Stop motion"); the image field can also be moved with a keyboard-free drag or left as it is - it carries no information that is not available elsewhere on the site.
• Project photographs are shown for their visual content; each project page names the project, its type and location in text.
